ABSTRACT We computed the luminosity of simulated galaxies c-eagle project, a suite 30 high-resolution zoom-in simulations galaxy clusters based on eagle simulation. The AB magnitudes are derived for different spectral bands, from ultraviolet to infrared, using simple stellar population modelling E-MILES spectra library. take into account obscuration due dust in star forming regions and diffuse interstellar medium. g − r colour–stellar mass diagram, at z = 0.1, presents defined red sequence, reaching ≃ 0.8, 0.05 dex redder than high masses, well populated blue cloud, when field included. clusters’ inner dominated by red-sequence all although non-negligible amount still present. adopt Bayesian inference compute LFs, testing statistical significance both single double Schechter functions. multicolour LFs 0 show knee that peaks infrared increases with cluster’s mass. faint-end is weakly dependent colour shows an upturn optical, bounded between −1.25 −1.39, just moderately steeper field. reproduce, within observational errors, spectroscopic Hercules Abell 85 clusters, including their faint end upturn. broad agreement observed taken SDSS XXL surveys, up 0.67, showing rather flat constrains account.
